eif_string

Synopsis

#include "eif_plug.h" EIF_REFERENCE eif_string (char * string);

Description

The eif_string macro returns an Eiffel string corresponding to the C string string.

The return value does not reference string.

Notes

This function return an Eiffel reference, which must be protected with eif_protect.

Conformance

ISE Eiffel 4.5 and later.

Compatibility

eif_string is equivalent to RTMS, which is deprecated.
